My Fellow Chatelaine Stitchers,

As Martina has changed her business model, it makes a great deal of sense for the format of our discussion board to mirror that change. I see this as an opportunity to stream-line our board and hopefully improve navigation. You will see a new Current Releases forum at the head of the section which used to be only those designs with currently running Yahoo groups. This Current Releases forum will be sort of a "revolving door" forum for the discussion of designs in their initial year of release. Thus, the list of designs underneath the title and in the "How to Use this Forum" post within the forum, will be updated as new designs are released and other designs age. Following the initial year of publication, all posts related to a particular design will be archived or moved to the appropriate forums in the Previously Released Designs section of the board. That will enable us to keep important information, photos, tips, etc. for future stitchers of the design just as we do now for the older designs.

As all of Martina's currently running Yahoo groups end, you will see the number of forums in that section decrease substantially. Ultimately, the only forums in this section will be Current Releases and the few mystery groups (Christmas Mystery, Big Mandala Mystery, and any other mystery project for which there is a Yahoo group). This should make the number of forums and the structure of the board much easier for all to navigate. But, it will take time for all of the on-line groups to run their course, so please be patient.

We have a really wonderful group of moderators on this board, and I would like to ask all the members of the community to help them as best you can by checking that you are posting in the correct forum and accurately titling your posts. This will make the job of archiving/moving posts so much easier. Not to mention that other community members will be much more likely to respond to posts in the appropriate forums. Thank you to everyone for contributing to the success of our little corner of the web!
