Posts: 85 07/01/09 08:31 PM	Tags : None I was patient and when Waterlily Pond was re-released I got it. I stitched the first frame and when I went to put the emblem in the frame, I found that the frame is one stitch higher than wider. I know where the extra stitch is the question is do I want to frog everything or just do the entire piece this way. I did stitch it as charted. I asked my DH if he could see the difference and he said no. I honestly think I am the only one who would know it is off by one but was wondering what you all thought. I am open to all suggestions/opinions. Thanks, Kelly

Posts: 259 07/02/09 03:50 AM	When you say frame do you mean the square outer edge of the block or are you stitching the filigree frame that was with the original project (I can't remember if this was class only?). If its the square frame they're filled with speciality stitches and looking at the picture of my quilt A (I'm at work - thumbnail attached) mine looks square. You might want to compare the second block on your chart, they should be the same size. If its the filigree frame I can check the chart file when I get home and give you a stitch count for what my chart has if that helps. Webshots My dragons

Posts: 85 07/02/09 05:41 AM	I am referring to the filigree frame. I did not get signed up for the original class so I has to wait for the re-release of it. I did stitch it as charted but the height is one more than the width. I did not catch it until I went to stitch the frame around the dragonfly. Thanks, Kelly

Posts: 259 07/02/09 07:25 AM	Right file found reprinted and counted! my filigree border is square. I counted from the top peak of the corner diamonds and it came out at 83x83. The corners for the main design squares should be started inthe 3rd diagonal square from the point of the corner diamond inner bit (descriptive I know!). All I can suggest is check your chart again and if it's definitely wrong let Martina know so she can correct her master version. Much as I hate and avoid frogging I think in this case I would unpick and add the missing stitch each side, its a big design and as its based on squares it might become more noticable as you go on which will be more unpicking (from memory its not too bad to unpick and restitch it, I screwed up on it once or twice). Posts: 85 07/02/09 08:08 AM	Thanks Dawn. My filigree border is 82x83. I am pretty sure that it is charted that way but I will double check when I get home tonight. I guess the frogs have come for a visit. Blah!!! I am pretty sure it would bug me to be off by one stitch. I am sure that no one else would notice it but i would know it is there. I have brought the piece into work with me this morning and am going to look at it on and off through out the day but I am fairly certain I will be frogging. Thanks a million.
