Frogs. I hates them. |

Does anyone else gets those moments when they just can't seem to do anything right? Every piece of stitching I touch at the moment, I go wrong on. Not just
a bit either - humongous frogs of doom level of wrong. First I realise on part 3 of Celtic that I am out by one stitch making me have to frog the bottom
section - it took me over a week. Then I'm stitching on Taj and realise a paisley ornament is out by half a stitch. Now I find that I'm a stitch out on
Holland and will have to take out the left side. I counted so carefully. 3 times even. I'm so frustrated I want to scream.

I think you need some of these:
I sometimes get the odd evening when it seems I have to stitch everything twice because of silly errors, but it's never been as bad as you describe... I'm sorry you're going through this, and I hope the stitching gods treat you much better very soon. |

I know how you feel.
It seems like every single piece you touch is jinxed.Almost forgot.... |

Thanks everyone. I needed to vent to people who would understand as my partner, though he tries, doesn't quite get it. I had some wine last night and
watched some TV (as in actually had my eyes on the screen!) and gained some perspective. I'll be frogging on the weekend and will not be stressing about
regaining lost time. In the meantime, I have a nice, easy baby sampler to work on the next two evenings.
Sali, proof that fairy dust works.

Awwww.....glad that the fairy dust worked.
And I think we all have those times where what CAN go wrong WILL go wrong. And how more we fight it, how more it will happen. Best to do is what you're doing already. Relaxing and doing something else in the meanwhile. I hope you'll show off the baby sampler. Gabi |

Yep, I get it too. I usually stop when I have to frog for the second time on one piece, and do something else. Sometimes I switch wips and that helps but not
always as the frogs are generally related to how I feel (if I feel off or tired, that will populate the frogs).
Hang in there, it too will pass. Hazel |
