Hi There, What do you all do about any wrinkles or fold marks in your linen? Or do you even worry about it? I tried to steam and iron mine, but I can still see
where the folds were. Do you wash and dry the linen before using it? And, when you are finished, do you iron again or? Thanks so much for your help, as always.

sometimes I'm worried about that kiind of fold but after my finish I always wash my pieces and let it in warm water for hours.after drying it and Ironing
it the fold always are gone and when you stretch it during framing all wrinkles are gone .so don;'t worry....wash it and it will be gone

I've heard that folks have had luck getting deep wrinkles out by freezing their damp linen. While damp roll it loosely in a towel and pop it into the
freezer. You can leave it in there for however long you'd like. When you pull it out, let it set a few minutes, carefully unroll and iron as usual. I
haven't tried it, but if the wrinkles are really deep, it might be worth a try.

Can you work on the project with the wrinkles in and not worry about them. Then do the washing/freezer thing when the project is complete?

Depends on the fibers you use. Cotton thread like DMC should be fine, but silks are a different matter as some are not colorfast! Fold lines generally will be
stretched out when the piece is framed, wrinkles can be lessened by an iron from the back of the piece....no steam!
