How long has it been taking for orders to be filled? Is there any kind of notification sent if some parts need to be ordered?

All I got was the automated response after my order was placed and what looks like the $ amount put in limbo on my CC: credited against my available funds but not yet applied to a specific vendor on my online statement. I get heebegeebes when my funds are unavailably in limbo for as long as they have been.

Laying tool, railroading or nothing?

I know that there has been some talk of laying tools or railroading to keep the cross stich threads parallel. I just wanted to know how many of you do this? Is this a prevalent thing? Does it really change something? I'm asking becuse I do use a laying tool - but only when I do my japanese embroidery. I have done railroading (that is when you place the needle between the two threads when making a stitch) sometimes extensively (like on my SQ piece) and on some of my Chat WIP's but...

I bought a couple from Martina (Tuscany Town & Pompeii) & am having a hard time getting them to print off decently. I'm afraid to start one & then get confused because I didn't print it right. I'm wondering if I'd be better off waiting for them to be released.

Glad to find this group. My name is Jane and I live in Rhode Island, USA. I have been stitching for over 35 years and stumbled across Martina's designs a couple of months ago. I was struck by the Tuscany one because it reminded me so much of a trip we took last summer for our 30th wedding anniversary. So I got the kit from ECC and picked up the fabric today. This will be the largest piece I have done - 21 inches x 21 inches and I am wondering about the best way to work it.

Can someone help please, on the chart it says the birds need to be backstitched with PB35, but PB35 does not exist in the materials list, am I supposed to order this as extra or use another one, is this a missprint or wil I have to buy it???????

as prommissed I would start working on my eggie and I did...........I finished all lonstitches with kreinik 203 #8 inside the black of egg......not an easy job but now it is finished I very happy with the result. Now the last part, the beads.6 different kinds for even more blingbling

I've been lurking here on and off for a while and thought I ought to introduce myself. Hi! I've been obsessed with stitching for about eight years now. I mostly stitch HAEDs and Mirabilias. So far the only Chatelaine I have is Convent's Herbal Garden, but I want almost all of them. ; )
