			<description><![CDATA[ Here is a little something I have been doing whilst waiting for part 5 of Holland Landscapes.

A friend of my Daughter asked me to stitch it for her 18 yr old son who has just gone through a rough time recently.  He saw the poem and decided that the
words had a meaning for him. Luckily there was a kit out there which is quite tasteful.  I was reasonably easy to stitch, but not really my kind of stitching.
At least it made a change.
<br>
Off to finish off some more bits now.

			<title><![CDATA[ Kathy's Violets (Chatelaine freebie) ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Here&#39;s my version of the freebie Kathy&#39;s Violets stitched on a hand-dyed soft aqua 28ct Lugana, 1x1 (I made 4 x&#39;s for each 1 on the chart).   I
used the recommended DMC threads, changing the metallic braid to dark green in the center and using Kreinik blending filament in the corner sections; added a
little silver dragonfly to the center and changed the bead colors.  I switched Algerian Eyelets to Rhodes stitches.  I just love the texture they add.  Thanks

Right now I&#39;m stitching first time on opalescent Cashel, and I&#39;m not really thrilled. I have of course lots of it in my stash...lol....but using it for

I am currently working on Part 9 (bottom row of buildings), and have noticed that this section is not symmetrical about a vertical axis (in plain English, the
left and right halves of this Part are not a reflection of one another).  The difference I have noticed is that on the right half of this part the small

I&#39;m working on the Convent&#39;s Herbal Garden outer gates. The directions don&#39;t say, but it seems like 2 strands would be too thick.

On many charts they are now using beads in the design here and there. But I&#39;ve noticed that most of the time they use Mill Hill beads. And now I have a
problem... Since I&#39;ve started using Delicas for stitching I just can&#39;t stand using Mill Hill ones... Now, they seem so &quot;gross&quot; to me compared
to Delicas.
