Hi everyone!

I just got really serious about stitching my rainforest and could use some inspiration so...can you guys post your blogs where your updates are? I'd love to keep track of everyone's progress.

I'm doing mine on antique white and not sure I like it yet I'm sure it will be fine once it looks like something

Blocks 4 and 5

I've almost finished the butterflies in blocks 4 and 5. There is definately some backstitching to finish. Who knows, maybe I'll almost be caught up by Aug 1 (hee,hee)

Almost three squares done

Well I have almost three squares of RFQ done. I would have had more, but sometime in late May, early June I rebelled against stitching on black. I just couldn't handle one more stitch!

After a few weeks "rest", i.e. stitching on light colored fabrics, I've returned to the dark side. Here is my progress so far. I substituted a dark green metalic for the black specialty stitches in the tucan and used metallic orange to replace the black stitches in the border. For...

It's me again.
I am going to do this on 28 count. Could someone check my Maths and make sure I have thie correct. I am doing the whole lot 367 x367 . I will use a piece 36in x 36in ...actual stitching part is 26.3 in x26.3 in.
Also How has everyone started this project.? Did you just meaure down and across from the left hand corner????
or is there another method I should be using??

Hi there,
Can someone help me with the intsructions in the deco border. I know how to do the algerian eyelats where you go into evey hole all around a square. But the last sentence says
"then stitch an AE over 4 into every other hole using PB31 ". and then there is a diagram that shows the thread going into every second hole ? Also if it is every second hole. Should it still be one thread ???? I am dumb or what.? Don't answer the lst question HA HA HA

Hi,
If I use Dream weaver for Rainforest..how much would it cost and what other threads would I need to get. I realise the beads need to be bought but does your thread cover everything except the DMC . Please tell me the cost of doing the quilt using your thread leaving out the DMC, Petite treasure braid and the beads .Thanks so much

just had my confirmation from Cindy, my RFQ kit will be on it's way today. Haven't got a clue how long it will take to get here though.
My Indian Summer Reflections kit was posted last Friday so I shall officially start stalking the postie on Friday. hehehe.
